As a lawyer, teacher, veteran, campaign organizer and a former policy adviser in the Obama Administration and California’s Schwarzenegger Administration I’ve had the privilege to learn from many wise people about how we might make more American progress sooner. One key experience in my journey was graduating from U.C. Davis School of Law where I will be returning soon to teach a class on Sustainability Law. I am presently serving as the Executive Director of the American Manufacturing Communities Collaborative. You can learn more about my background on my LinkedIn site.
WHY A PODCAST?
I started the What’s America’s Purpose podcast to connect you with leaders I know whose work is guided by American ideals, science, reason and the conviction that citizen action is America’s best means to achieving sustainable prosperity at home and abroad. Please join me in this conversation by sharing your take on What’s America’s Purpose on the contacts page. You can also give me your ideas on how we develop venues to expand this conversation to engage more citizens in translating American ideals into policies that enable all Americans to thrive in the 21st century. Maybe by doing more of this work together, we will have lots of additional progress to celebrate on July 4, 2026, the 250th Anniversary of our Declaration of Independence.
